Ahhh, Nelson Ledges, fun track, looks just like it was about 10 yrs ago, have any updates been done to that place at all in the last decade?

Yup CCW C14.

Nelson is....uhhh....well it's a dump is the best way to put it. One of my guilty pleasures in life though as it's incredibly fast track and a whole lot of fun.

2 mile track, I ran a 1:13.7 on my best lap today then put the data acquisition in my brother's car for fine tuning. Might even have high 1:12 in the car and that's "only" on Nitto's.

They re-paved some of the turns probably 7-8 years ago but it's still really bumpy. They have running water in the restroom now!

$100-ish bucks for a test and tune lapping day is hard to not show up for.

LOL, that first pic is certainly worthy of a 2000th post.

I've always heard of NL compared to VIR this way-

Nelson Ledges, you cross the bridge, look around and say "Wow, I can't believe this is a race track!"

VIR, you cross the bridge, look around and say "Wow, I can't believe this is a race track!"

NL has always been a pit but it's a great track and very fun.

Looks just the way it looked 25 years ago! Fast fun track, but nothing else is good about it. Track keeps breaking up cause it's built on a swamp...
