Dawg. Touché. Except I know I have 2-3 seconds to get. A/t you have reached your limit. When r u hitting Sebring next. When I burn through the 2 sets of kuhmos I'm trying the Hoosiers and I think you are toast. Have fun in Miami. Say hi to kathy.

Andrew, do not argue with 911 slow.

996 gt3s are not hard on rear rotors. Even with aggressive pads!!
I bought stock rear rotors from my local dealer in 2010 at full mark-up and they were $180.00 each. If you want to call Suncoast they are most likely cheaper. Or better yet call Chuck at IM GT3 He will have the best options.

2-3 seconds might be a little optimistic. I've seen you drive and you've already done every cheater part imaginable My best lap was done on hoosiers with 18 heat cycles and 85 degree weather. I'm saving a brand new set of hoosiers in the garage for this fall. At which time I'll wait for a crisp morning with zero humidity and lay down a time that will send you scurrying to the dealer for a 4.0 We just got back from South Beach. Crazy trip. Our cab driver had a heart attack on the way back to the airport. While we were driving on the interstate. EMT's were running a defib on him while we were standing in the break down lane. Not sure if he made it...

Agreed Suncoast is my local dealer but I'll be stuck with drilled rotors again. I need to find a better option. The 997 brake bias must be more aggressive because they def don't last as long as the 996 3's.

330mm or 350mm Stock steel 6GT3 rotors are 330mm?

Has anyone found a comparable rear rotor that will fit yet? The factory crossed drilled are cracking so fast.... Waste of money.

There has to be something that fits.
I had 60,000 miles with at least 28,000 track on my rear pccb and they were like new. Could not believe the bias. at least 2 to 1 on pads. closer to 3 to 1. My 997 another story.

I may invest in some expensive rotors for the rear. The drilled rotors out back are a waste of money. They're not super expensive at $350 a pair, but they don't last nearly as long as what you guys in the 996's are getting out of yours.

Sorry to bump an old thread but has anyone found a good, cheap slotted rear rotor for ex PCCB (350mm) 6gt3? I just bought a new set of ATE Cayenne S slotted fronts that of course fit fine but now I am struggling to find a slotted set for the rear. I know 997 turbo rears will work but won't it look funky having slotted fronts and drilled rears?

Unless you are looking for a difference in the rotor pattern, I don't think it is noticeable. I use the TT rears and slotted fronts.

Thanks, that is probably what I'll end up doing.

It says those are for cars without PCCB so I assume they are 330mm? Unfortunately, I bought sebro 330 rears and they are too small since the rotor does not rub against the outermost edge of the brake pad.

Been using brakeperformance.com

Think slotted rears like 142/pr. Several choices. Free shipping.

Do their rears work with parking brake as well? Silly cheap prices!
