Cleaning out a shelf in my garage, came across an M2005 Arai Quantum II full-face helmet with HANS device anchors. Is it a helmet that can be used, that is, for DE's or TT's? Haven't been on the track for 5 years now, and won't be , so if anyone can use it, yours for the shipping cost. If you're in the SF Bay Area, we can arrange to get together.

So, I take it, it does meet helmet safety for the track, that is, not too old?

For some organizations it is to old, others you may need a 2010. Depending on who you run with you can probably still use it.

I am going to pick up a Hans device to go with my new seats, harnesses and roll bar. Helmets are good for 10 years here, so it would work out perfect.

BTW, how long have you been out of the service?
