I need a very small snap-in piece of trim the goes along the window area in front of the driver adjacent to the windshield wiper.

If I read this correctly, the whole panel cover comes in one part number and it only gives an additional gasket (I don't know if it means that cover cause their is no pic in the PET).

part number for the complete stripe is 996 572 563 06 and color is black 01c

the gasket is 996 572 931 00

both are cheap so either get them or to be sure a Rennlister can remove this small cover and try to read the part number if available.


I would do it but I am not near the car.

Great. This is in the PET but it's shown as a round cup so I thought it was the cover for the wiper's bolt.

Yep, it is the cover for the wiper bolt on the driver's side (US).
