Default 996 turboS to GT2 conversion

There is a nice opportunity to buy a an original 996 Turbo S with some work.
Thinking of what all needs to be done to the car, it might actually be interesting to to a conversion to GT2 technical Spec (as close as i can afford)

Basically i would try to make it in a 2WD car with proper race track handling.
Can you just dismount the front drive shafts and front diff and keep using the same gearbox ? Does the 996 Turbo S have a LSD for the rears that you can keep ?

Upgrading brakes, shocks, suspension arms, and front + rear spoiler was already planned.

Thanks in advance
