Default Forgeline VF-1!

Yeah, I guess this is kind of the beginning of the slippery slope?

Got my first set of track wheels.. !! Was pretty set on a set of CCW C-14 or C-10, but then saw one of the sponsors here at the board, Forgeline, has these new 1-piece forged track wheels available at a good price.

Usually I am the type who likes to buy things that's well proven, but decided to give these new VF-1 a try after chatting w/ Forgeline a little bit. Hopefully they are as strong as they are good looking!

Hey, what's in these boxes?!

The current promotional price is $2,500 (any color you want). Although I don't know how long the promotion last. Was told that these are brand new from Forgeline, so they are offering a $1,000 discount.

Using bathroom scale (so I don't know how accurate they are).. 19.4 lbs front and 21.4 lbs rear.

Very nice. Those will look ultra hot on the white car.

I can't comment on the one piece wheels, but their multi piece wheels have been terrific for me. Tough and no leaks!

Its a seriously good looking wheel.

I have been dealing with the gents at Forgeline for many years, and I have two of my own sets of custom wheels that they did for me. You made a wise choice.

Glad to hear about the reputation of Forgeline! Like I said, I rely on the experience here at the forum and I haven't seen many using their products (at least not posted).. while I saw a lot of comments on CCW..

Hopefully these are very strong.. that's most important to me.. !

Looking forward to pics.

Btw, with its very generous ceiling height, your garage is just asking for a car lift!

I was told that you can pick any color you want, same cost.. I picked satin black.. going for the panda look..

I worked w/ David Schardt.. he is a member here at Rennlist. I e-mailed him about this post so hopefully he will chime in when he has time.. !!

Forgeline is a great company and I really dig the new VF-1 wheel.
