Here is a link to a company that has various length fuel tubing if anyone is interested. I was looking at the price of the fuel pump now and it seems you can't touch one for less than 650$. If anyone has seen the 996 GT3 fuel pump for the 350$ stated above, please let me know, otherwise I will probably go the route below when the time comes.

I have my original one since I just replace it with new unit-(new one was $550 I believe) old one looked fine, 30,000 miles.on well- better safe than sorry. $100 plus freight for my old one if you want

The Flex hose available at APE in the above link comes in 8", 10" and 14" sizes. The little short rubber tube appears to be only about 3" long. Do those that have done this think that the shorty could be replaced with the 8"? The curved rubber hose seems to have been replaced by a much longer Flex hose in the upgraded pump. Maybe order two 8" or one 8" and a 10" to accomplish the repair? Any advice based on some experience? TIA!
