Did a 1:32.8 this morning - done for the day since I doubt it will go any faster as track warms up. We will see if the time holds up.

VERY NICE! especially on some old tires. Are you running Rs or As and what size front and back. Currently I'm running 315r and 255f but I think the 997 RS can squeeze a 335 out back?

Got data and video (at least I hope, haven't plugged it in yet). I just got home, so time to unload, unpack, and take trailer to storage. Not sure how I ended up for today, but hopefully in the top 2-3.

I'll hopefully get the video uploaded tonight and post it (I think vimeo takes a day or so).

Fritz - I run the same - Hoosier A6 255/35/18 front and 315/30/18 rear. So far so good. I've asked around about running 295 on the front and 335 on the rear, but most Porsche gurus seem to think it's an overkill for 6GT3. I got a new aero package going on the car and I'm going to do some light "gutting" to see if I can get 100-150 pounds out of the car. October I got VIR so I'll see what if any difference it will make.

Man - got beat with a 1:32.81 compare to my 1:32.87 - oh well, very close! I'll have to be happy with a 1st and a 2nd.

How many heat cycles are you getting out of the As out back?

Fritz - I typically wear out my fronts before my rears. Last set only lasted 12 heat cycles. These current ones are at 14 and haven't corded yet. Although this time I got smarter and had them flipped on my rims at 9 heat cycles. I'm hoping to get closer to 20 this time around.

Video uploading, will post in the morning.

Thank you all for the congratulations - I simply continue to be amazed at this car. I ran about 1/2 the tire of the Vette's around me and the car is equally as fast. It's crazy how stable and predictable it is, but when you get going fast it's almost like you have to wrestle it in to submission. I love every minute of driving it!

Here it is - completely unedited, so skip to around 3:20. First lap is 1:33.4 and second is 1:32.8

Shorter ring/pinion(vic's old car)- very extensively modded car. All it needs is a full strip and gear sets it'll be flying : ). Mike
