2:22 Sebring = 1:35 @ Road Atlanta
I do have settings for RA if you are interested..

And correct me if I'm wrong but 1:35 should be fairly easy to get based on the modifications to Alex's car.

My car's previous track life used to be mainly at Road Atlanta. It's gone high 1:34's there. That was with good suspension upgrades, but on pilot sport cups, stock gearing, stock flywheel / clutch, muffler bypass only, stock wing, etc. Don't know what the weather was though.

I've got to think Alex's setup he'd pretty eaily be able to get more than that. It is the heat of summer though right now.

Watch out for the yellow FD driven by Brent he's quicker at RA than VIR. You two should have a good battle if he's signed up.

Get some video please

Yep - he's signed up. I used to get him pretty good at VIR, last time out he got very close! RA is not my home like VIR. Last time at RA I went 1:35 with traffic (had to start last because I didn't get a qualifying time in). I know there is more time left, but Brent went 1:33s there in June!

Not Easy, a 1:35 is hauling *** @ RA, particularly not on Hoosiers or similar. Just look at the lap times of GTS 4 Cars this weekend for the NASA race.. But certainly doable as you've described. Still takes a nice set of ***** to trust the car with all the walls @ RA.

From a track you can put into perspective it would be doing 1:36ish at MidOh.

He's sorted the brakes and susp some since June so he'll be a tuff competitor. Also he's only been driving for about 4 years and is getting faster each weekend. He has the heart and the ***** so I expect him to seriously start kicking *** in the next 2 or 3 years.

Andy - negative on NASA nationals. Too much money when I know I can't win. Once I finish building the car - maybe.

Fritz - looking forward to it. His car definitely looks the part - huge tires and aero, nice and torqey v8, so I know it's fast!

Hi Everybody !
My 2.21 was with OEM shocks and springs and R6's.
The TTS record in NASA for Sebring is 2.20, with a highly modified Corvette C6 and a VERY fast and excellent driver and a also good friend of mine.

I was going after this track record, but decided to move to racing and to a Cup.
For info, I did Road Atlanta last year for the first time and did 1.35

Times will obviously depend on track temperatures, car setup, tires,, snd driver of course, etc...

Won today with a 1:33.4 - barely, second place was 0.2 behind. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

He was - but I'm in trouble tomorrow. Brent is going out on sticker A6s and mine are 14 cycles old. Plus David White, aka Bimmerworld Pro Driver, is driving Mueller's M3 and he's getting faster every session.

You'd think those pros have enough to do w/o picking on you guys.

Brake late, you can do it

However Brent is the other half of Almost Racing hehe so hopefully he'll get her done
