Default Sebring Lap Times in 6GT3

Before I get crushed - I searched, but most posts were not very recent.

I'm going to be running against a guy who did a 2:22 at Sebring earlier this year - trying to gauge how fast that is. Those of you in 6GT3 what kind of times are you seeing? Is 2:22 just crazy fast or doable in one of our cars?

2:22's is definently doable. We ran a 2:25 on AD07 street tires with just toe links and Moton Club Sports. Properly set up and modded on R6's and a reasonably cool day a Hot Shoe could break 2:20's. IMHO YMMV

I was just teasing - living in Seattle I have no familiarity with Sebring other than what I read on rennlist

Although iirc 007DT was crushing it a Sebring earlier this year

my coach ran a 223 in hot summer on new nittos on my car. Stickies should see 222's or better. I ran 226 on nittos. Should see 224's on v710's. Hoosiers a bit faster and I'm no racer. Btw softer spring rates do better at Sebring. Daniels1221 who just sold his car here on RL does 222's on Hoosiers. i believe he was the FL tts nasa winner .. if that is the guy you are going after he no longer has the 6gt3. good luck

Well, that's 5 second faster than I need - so being that I'm slow and my car is not 007DT monster I think there is still hope.

No, not him. It's Mr Mueller - BMW multiple national champion in his new E46 M3.

Yeah, I run NASA TT @ Sebring and I had to explain to the regulars how fast a well driven and prepped CM BMW is. Not sure about how fast they can potentially go @ Sebring but CM will run sub 2:00 @ VIR. The TTS record @ Sebring is soft and should be well below 2:20's.

2:22 is fast but doable.

I never did a 2:17.. 2:20.1 on Nitto's. this year. It was my first and only weekend @ Sebring.

Fun Track. Be prepared to spend some scratch $ That track is the consumable monster!! Fuel, Brakes, Tires!

Just looked for my notes to see what I had my Motons set at, but no dice.. Regardless they were new to me at the time and I'm still getting a setting I'm entirely comfortable with.

Dave - thanks. I'm not actually going to Sebring, just trying to get an idea of what 2:22 at Sebring means to Road Atlanta. I'm coming down to RA this weekend and going to be running against a guy that did a 2:22 at Sebring.
