I agree; If you have made the cup radiator conversion with functional bumper top openings(this is the main difference between street GT3s and cup cars in front downforce) then with the rear cup wing and std 6 cup wing uprights the cup lip is ok. Raced and tested.
Bigger or raised rear wing would require a balancing touch in the front.

Some sort of canard seems to be the most reasonable/effective option. Wish I had some CF fab skills.

Damn it - when did people on RL become reasonable??? I was fully expecting some crazy suggestions and here I am being told to save my money and use what I already have

Where can I get the cup splitter? I can't seem to find it on the internet (the 2 places that advertise it don't have it available).

Edit: I see where TRG has them on back order, but here are the p/ns anyway

That actually doesn't look too bad and would seem to be effective.
I'm actually seriously thinking about this fabrication plan, but then I think Porsche probably spent a lot of time developing the Cup lip.
Decisions, decisions...

If you really want some serious downforces, how about the setup that TopSpeed did for the One Lap of America winning 996 GT2? The front splitter goes under the car to seal up the bottom and is a flat surface (made of metal) and a matching tall wing on the back.

Here's the build, you will find some pics there:

Making a front splitter is really easy. Some sheet aluminum (or plywood if you dig ghetto-fab) a can of spray paint and some time. I used to fix surfboards in my earlier years, so glassing over some sheet foam is no biggie for me, either. If I was so inclined, I'd use a thin sheet of aluminum and shape a 1" foam sheet over it then glass it all up and paint it.
But with life as busy as it is, when the stocker is trash I'll just order a Cup one. But a sheet of aluminum under that, extending an inch more, may be the ticket.
Be good,
TomK
