Default Front lip options

So, now that I'm getting more on the rear what are the options for the front. I have the regular Cup lip, but it seems to be only so capable based on the size of it.

I've seen the World Challenge splitter by GMG - I think they are about a grand.

Are their other options?

Oakley design makes one in carbon fiber. Not sure of the functionality though, may be more of a show piece.

The beauty of the cup lip spoiler design is that it's disposable. These bigger/lower carbon splitters can't take much abuse and are expensive to replace. The world challenge splitters are more than a grand! Something to consider.

I'm suprised more people here haven't experimented with making their own using Alumalite. Lots of grassroots racers are using it for their cutsom splitters.

Kinda wondered the same thing after seeing a friend fab one up for her E36M3. I like the cup lip, but wish there was one out there maybe %25 bigger.

Totally agree but in this area, snaps on, sufficient, cheap, and easily found/readily available - rare for Porsche "mods"

I had a cf manthey one on my 996 - shattered it

I say cup and forget it
