As a mod I can verify that this indeed is a safety feature; and we don't mess with safety here.

cup car gear box is way overrated. gearing too close, you will miss shift and blow the motor.
let me take it off your hands.

Nice. Has it been rebuilt? What is the rebuild and/or service schedule? Does it also utilize an oil to water cooler like stock? What clutch flywheel setup do you have planned?

I agree with Mooty, although this is clearly a safety-based upgrade (akin to gutting the doors for a proper cage install), this is a recipe for disaster and should rid yourself of that gearbox immediately................

Damn you Chris, I still had faint hopes that you might not take it.

Good score, after seeing you drive at The Glen, you definitely deserve it

If you feel like it, could you pm me what you paid for it? Just a ballpark will do. Planning my next move, and I have no idea.

Not sure if I should go for full box, or just some gears and steal syncros.

Chris, Im looking forward to seeing how safe you are with it installed? How much safer per lap do you think it might be?
