just looking at those Geo figures, that's a ferocious amount of toe out up front, 1mm per side 2mm total, although better for turn in, does the vehicle not tram-line badly and somewhat unstable in straight line driving ??

I've had about 100 miles on this setup on the street with OEM sized front tires and I did not experience any tramlining and it was perfectly stable at ~85mph. I'll have track feedback in a few weeks.

Dell I respect your experience and ferocious it might not be but a lot it is..
What is wrong with zero front toe? Or if you must -4' total for that edge on turn?
Even cups and RSR basic settings are zero front..and they are the epitome or razor sharp..
When I tried negative , car was tricky.
Just saying.. : )

I received some Excellence magazine from a fellow Rennlister (when he is clearing out his garage or just want to share the magazines with others.. he just charged the shipping fee, I got 15 of of them)..
Anyway, I was reading the Cargraphic 3.8 GT3 review that won the Tuner Grand Prix.. it was running toe-in (slightly) up front. I was kind of surprised.
Anyway, just a reference point.. !

Zero toe is just fine but running a touch toe in not only provides better turn-in response, but dials out some understeer. For those of us that like a car that oversteers a touch, then it is a great setup.
It's not for everybody. But if the race teams run toe-in, there must be a reason. My shop rec'd it, so I listen. All I do is tell my engineer what I want the car to do and he sets it up.

I'm not that sharp on setup, so I did like what Dell suggested;
"All I do is tell my engineer what I want the car to do and he sets it up."
What I do see is that people seem to get caught up on just 1 piece of the puzzle; its camber + toe + caster + tires + driving style + down force + ability (I'm no Cup driver!), etc.
If I go out on track and can't find my *** with both hands, we change change it

That's why it's great to have somebody like Greg (we have the same engineer). He understands our non-engineer speak and translates it to what we want the car to do. If we don't like it he changes small pieces at a time.
Scott now has a phenomenal baseline setup for the track and can adjust from there. None of this is set in stone.

1mm of toe out per side is about 7.5' of toe-out. That's 15' of toe-out total, which is a boat load of toe-out. In fact, that's more than double GT3RS specs (0-3' per side). 1mm total toe-out seem closer to workable for sure. Personally, I would be a little nervous with 7.5' of toe-out per side (15' total) on my car as I drive it on the street as well.
As for the rear, 1.75MM is just over 13' of toe-in for the rear, which is a a common amount.
YMMV

Thanks everyone for the feedback.
I had it up to ~85mph on the freeway today and it was a ***** cat; no wandering, no dartiness, no drama; the added turn in and more planted feeling is nice, even on street tires. We'll see.
