27xx not stripped can probably go under 2600 if I fully strip it.

For the first 100 pounds fairly cheap, next 100 pounds gets expensive next 100 pounds needs heavy medication and group therapy last 100 pounds are done from the asylum.

Ha.... I'm almost there. I'm having GT3 withdrawls. Thank God I didn't sell my GT3. I love that car.... I really do.

Can't see stripping my car, but Martin is going fully boat. Zone 8 is adopting the Zone 7 GGR point system and there is a discussion that there is not enough points assigned to weight loss.

I really want to see Martin get his car finished so we can see what it will do.

For discussion purposes, Martin removed everything inside, removed all body panels and will replace them with CF or fiberglass, go to wide body kit, wider tires, etc. I don't know if he'll get down to 2500 lbs., but that is the goal.

Vic, you know the smurf mobile right? I know it's not a GT3, but it's down around 2250 lbs!

2250 for that thing? Wow. Are you considering it? What's going on with the 944? Are you over it?

I'm not considering the smurf mobile, it's already got an owner, but just thinking out loud. The spec car is coming along. It needed more work than I original thought, but nothing some $$ can't take car of . We've been chasing a handling issue which we think we have found (at least 90% sure). Dropped lap time 3 seconds one change at at time

I'm glad its working out with the 944. last time I talked to you you were pretty bummed about the clutch. $ solves everything doesn't it?

I like the "No, I'm not ready yet" option on the site.

Don't forget, you have 2 kidneys. That's a LOT of car.

My car's a pig compared to what you guys are discussing.

I'll weigh mine but it does still have the interior etc.. in tact since it's a street and DE car but you can see some of the weight savings here:
