^ what is "wet"
do you mean full tank of fuel?
zero option cars with full tank and a roll bar should be 3050 ish no?
that's very very light for your car!

I don't want to strip my car, but 27xx non-stripped and the first 100lbs being fairly cheap makes me curious. What does it take to shed those 100lbs? Exhaust, wheels, battery?

Thanks.

My wrench Dan Aspesi, owner of Speed Gallery in Studio City, has just finished his latest 6-GT3 stripper. It's going over to Bobby Faieta's shop today to play on his dyno. He'll be testing headers vs OEM, 997 TB vs OEM, and stock DME vs. a GIAC custom program written on their dyno for a previous GT3 build. We'll weigh it sometime during the day, it's expected to weigh 2550 on fumes. I'll take some pics, it has a custom lightweight fiberglass front end and doors, CF roof with decklid and wing, and Lexan all around. He pared the wiring harness down to 6 circuits and removed the dash which is good for about 50 lbs. Any unnecessary metal like brackets, etc. have been removed. Full cage of course.
Pics and results later today....
