Mootys doors were really light, saved me a bit over 100 lbs for the pair. My car had the bose speaker boxes I'm them. Crashbaras are still in though since I don't.have a cage. My car is RWD, and about 512 whp.

Its the monster I wish to unleash. Going to NASA nationals this year for time trials. I looked at steering wheels.but from I could find they were only worth 2-3 lbs.

That's a common mistake. Folks want to lose 500 pounds with a 3-step program. For drastic weight savings every single pound counts. Get creative.

I don't want a 3step program, but I also want things that will be substantial weight savings FIRST (unless it's just snatching something out). There are still some chunks I can get out, and I think those 8-10-15 lb chunks will get me where I need to be. When I have exhausted those measures, I will move to the little, really expensive per lb stuff.

I'm trying to get the car to 2730-2740 and I'll be good.

my stock 6RS with passenger seat out/front trunk junk removed/OZ wheels is 1402kg with a half tank ie 3100 lbs. I need to empty my windscreen washer fluid!!

SLOW do you still have those lightened door liners from Cargraphic for sale ?

Ps - in parc ferme today the 3.9L stripper 996-RS we have running here came in dry (end of a 30min race) at 2580 lbs ie just a bit heavier than the cups I think.

I have an update, we put the cup car clutch and nearly non-existent looking flywheel in the car and removing the clutch assist. Also got rid of the wiper and some other little stuff, lost another 35 lbs or so. Turbo car does not like the flywheel though and likes to throw misfire codes.

Car is right at 2800 with no gas. Getting the NASA/SCCA approved safety devices cage which in all honesty should add 50-75 lbs back. At that point carbon doors and roof are going in along with some dash work. Goal is 2700 no driver/no gas or 2940 driver and about 20 lbs of gas (driver 215-220)
