Track Wheel / Tire (NT01) Storage Question
Aside from inside and out of direct sunlight, how should I store my NT01s? The NITTO site didn't have any info
On a rack or on their sides? Do you air them up or air them down? The reason I ask is that the RA1s, which I think are very similar if not the same at NT01s I'm told are required to be aired down to 1/2 of standard pressure for storage, which is opposite to what I would think. My next event isn't for about 3 months (tick tock tick tock). TIA

That notice doesn't mention NT-01's. Probably the same but one never knows.
I am putting mine in the basement but not worrying any further than that about them.
I have a sneaky suspicion that the whole tire deal is overplayed. If a tire can't last three months on a dolly in my basement there really is something wrong with it.
I'm NOT saying drive on R-Comps when it's 20 out but I am not going overboard with them. If I get to bagging them up fine, if not, no big deal.
Now the car.....that got babied, fluids, wheel wells done, polished, sealed, waxed, interior, etc!!

General internet searches and the T/R site are proving similar; air down to ~50% or normal and cover or even bag them up. I have sent a note into them via their website; will report back if I get a reply.

I just a bit ago heard back from Nitto. See PDF doc linked. Pretty much the same as others.

Seems that the advisory (both Toyo and Nitto) address storage in climates BELOW their reported threshold. I've stored in the garage over winter before and got cracking on my Yoko slicks. Not anymore. Tires stay in my office over the winter if there is life left in them

In the finished part of the basement, air down to half and mostly sleeping soundly in the relative dark. They will be back on the car befor the spiders and other critters get active again.

Thanks for the reminder.
Here's more incentive. This was the inside of my driver's rear tire last Sunday morning at VIR. Luickly I flipped tires that morning and saw this before something BAD happened. We had three cold nights in a row......
