Default Should I buy a Cup?

Hey, I was debating weather or not to strip the car of some weight. I decided, with all your help not to strip it. Now about all the recommendations to buy a cup. The 6-Cups are pretty reasonable right now.

I'm hesitant to sell my car with all these people selling for 45k these days. Or do I just cage it and be done with it?

FYI: my racing days are behind me so I just track and TT. I do want the security of a cage regardless.

I would strip and cage your current car,as i'm going to do over winter on my car.
I thinks its nice to be able to have the option of driving the car on the street and to track events, cup car would be awesome but just pure track, and a trailor job to every event, just my 2 cents worth, cheers

Well, the streetability is irrelevant as my car is in a garage at the track.

If you can afford it and only track it, Why Not?

If priced right selling won't be hard. Sure it's heavily modified so it won't be a $45k car but there plenty of buyers out there waiting for modified ones for reasonable money

if you cage it, you need to take out the interior. seriously.
go talk with werks 2 or 911 design, i am pretty sure they wont do you a cage with interior. so if you want cage, u either strip or cup.

if you caged your car, it wont be worth 45k anyways, so you might as well just sell it.

i think with all the stuff on your car, it's worth more than 45, not much though.

to cup or not: i dont know
to cage or not: depends on if you strip. if you dont strp, dont cage. if you strip, cage it. that i know. any argument otherwise is just wrong.

It would be hard for me to sell my car. I put a few nice things on it and just cannot let it go. I'm abit sentimental and selling it seems like I'm losing a family member. I've gone down the deep end so don't read what I think. Mike

PM me details. I kinda remember some stuff but not much. White/red RS clone with motons is about all I recall.
