unless a GTx car was your first - how would anyone understand them?

i have done it many times.

if i take seats out, they will sell $2200 easy.
and the buyer will HAPPILY pay to install those blah blah...
it's very strange.

if i sell my car for 100k, buyer will think it's a rip off.
if i sell it to dealer for 90, the SAME buyers goes in buy the car from dealer for 110, he's very happy... this happend 3x to me

i also told the buyer that i can get him financing just like dealer can.....

hum.... i need a dealership sign on my front door.

oh another example. i have a roll bar that came in n out of the same car that i sold and then my friend sold and my friend sold 4x. my mechanic told me that he wont take the thing out again b/c 3 hours later, it's going right back in.
it never ceases to amaze me either mooty ... both with track mods and with private vs dealer ... I'd rather give my money to an RLer than a dealer anyday.

trust me. GTx cars are a cult.
until you are in it, you will not fully understand it's good and bad.
some leave after joining.
some keeps coming back.
it's very hard to explain. it's like colnago guys just dont ride pinarello, strange as it may be.

This is killing me. I hope when I'm ready to buy a Gt3 (996) there will be one this good. One of the right colors, low miles and a thumbs up from Mooty. How can you go wrong

I really want to be a member of this cult. I know I will fit right in. Have lots of friends with this car..... Crazy Canuck being one of them. Know lots of guys with the finanical ability to buy the latest and greatest (ie 997 GT3RS, GT2 etc) and they keep their 996 GT3. This is the last of the drivers cars, no Nannys!
Good luck with the sale....... I'm on my way the buy a lotto ticket.

If I win, fly to Cali, buy the GT3, drive to Vegas, drive up the west coast, ski a couple of days at Whistler and ship the car east to it's new home at Calabogie race track near Ottawa, maybe a couple of beers along the way

Cheers,
Geoff

jesus christ...I'm gonna have to drive one of these things

or somebody needs to take me for a quick spin

JWGT2 - not sure where you are in the bay area, but if you ever find yourself in the city, give me a holler. I need to spend $50K like I need a hole in the head, but I'm getting an itch - what's the model year of this one?

Rob,
Just FYI, but I think (hope) I am ahead of you in line for the seats. James & I exchanged PMs about them yesterday and I confirmed price with him this morning.
