Default FS: 6GT3 Black/Black, low 17k miles, $54kobo

Black (non metallic one) on Black
17,500-miles (approx)

I am the 2nd owner (bought w/ 12k-miles in Dec 2009)--intention was to make this my full time track car. The car has always been in California--1st 5-years in SoCal and most recently Norcal. First owner did not track. He babied it and lived in So Cal. Prior to selling to me, he had the RMS replaced and put in a new batter at Beverly Hills Porsche (I have invoice showing all work).

I had Carlsen Porsche broker the private party purchase since they provided financing. In the process, I got a lower rate by having the car certified.

CPO warranty through Porsche (starting Dec2009) runs 2-years or 100k.

Asking Price: $54k OBO
119k msrp (still have orig window sticker)
OPTIONS:Small carbon pkg (shift ****/prk brake), Full leather, PCCB's converted to steel rotors (i don't have the pccb rotors), Storage Cmpt Lid w/ GT3 logo, Yellow Dials, Yellow Belts, Metal door sill w/ GT3 insignia, Xenon.
All stock, no mods.
Clear film by Premier Protection in Fremont: front bumper, bonnet/hood, full fenders, rocker panels, splash areas F/R of Rear fenders-->all wrapped w/ no seams visible.
Recently detailed by AutoConcierge in Fremont -- For those in the bay area, Bob Willis is THE BEST especially with Black cars. Bob is very familiar w/ the overall condition of paint since he's spent numerous hours on my car.

No accidents, No OFFS on track, No Body work.

I've tracked this car 4X this year and kept getting sidetracked by my Green .1RS. So, the 996GT3 has become more of a street car. I've decided to focus on tracking the RS full time and purchased a daily driver 996TT to replace the 996GT3.

RECENT SERVICE/REPAIRS:
1. COOLANT SYSTEM--Hoses replaced by TC Design in Milpitas
2. Left Rear Shock--replaced by Carlsen 9/27/2010, was leaking. Covered under CPO warranty!
3. RMS-replaced by Beverly Hills Porsche in Dec 2009 prior to my purchase.
4. Battery- replaced by BH Porsche in Dec 2009.

My Dealer (CARLSEN) recently (9/24/2010) did a Multi-Point Inspection on the car. This report is available.

Carlsen does not do PPI inspections according to my contacts there. They only offer "Inspections" which essentially covers most major items.

Great looking car, priced right, should go very quickly for you. I wish soo many of the good cars weren't popping up all the way across the country from me!

And as a fellow pro. detailer, I can attest that Bob @ AutoConcierge is one of the best in the business. Whoever buys this car can rest assured that it's detailed to perfection.

Imo I think you have to look nationwide for the right GT3, unless perhaps you live close to mooty

I won't disagree with you there, I do national serches daily but I've told myself that unless the perfect car popps up I'm not pursuing cars further than 500 miles away.

Ironically there's a perfect match for me that's 300 miles away but the sellers asking price would indicate they haven't paid attention to the market in about 3 years or doesn't actually intend to sell.

The car in this thread is priced right and will move pretty darn quickly. The last couple posted at realistic prices on this board have sold in a matter of days.

make a real offer and see what happens. People are nuts when it comes to Porsche pricing - things change when they have a real offer sitting in front of their face.
