All...need the spoiler and rear engine lid assembly...the whole piece. Had some guys PM me thanks very much but I know now I wasn't clear that I needed the whole thing....

Red would be ideal - great....but if I have to paint...so be it.

Please PM me and thanks for all the support - I am pretty bummed with this whole situation.

Ensure that you buy the correct decklid assembly as there is one 996 GT3 'look' kit that goes on regular 996 models and then the real GT3 assembly.

Los Angeles Dismantlers just had a white GT3 they are parting but the deck lid might be sold already.

Still don't have the car out of the body shop yet - and no settlement with the transporter to damage...hopefully both to move forward this week - will update the 'saga' as it comes to an end..

Well got her home today - just have to get it detailed and the 3m treatment on the front bumber. Body work now done, euro lip, GT3 Euro seats installed, SS harness bar c/w a pair of 6 pt harness (red) , window tint and proper GT 3 tips...I am down right happy with the result. The good news is mechanically the car was perfect - I mean only a windshield wiper cap required for the Canadian inspection.

The car has a short shifter in it and is a blast to drive. Have three days on the track coming in two weeks time. It is wonderful to be in lust with my GT 3 for the first time - and it gets a heck of a lot more attention on the road than my new Twin Turbo I can tell you that - couple of snaps attached.

Lawyers letter leaving tomorrow against the broker who I contracted with to ship the car. After 60 days is still spinning his wheels and not given me any action plan or timing for restitution.....like anybody has time for that...

Looking very good!

Did it get a complete paint spray, or just the damaged and affected areas?

BTW those OEM tips look 110% better than the total weirdness the car came with.... WTF was the PO thinking!!???
Hope to see you at CMP!!

Now you just gotta drop it a little bit. I went down 10mm/13mm front/rear last weekend and it's a huge cosmetic improvement.

Looks great, you will be very impressed with the 996 GT3, it's a hoot at the track.

Let me know if you needs some track wheels, I have 2 extra set's that I will be selling in May when I put my 6 up for sale.

Once you get it on track, you'll forget about the whole ordeal. On track, the car is a MONSTER. Enjoy!

Thanks Peter for the note - they ended up painting the front and rear bumber covers and the rear deck lid in its entirety. Andreas buffed the entire car - it looks amazing I must admit and you can't tell that any work was done to it - he really is a master and the 4 week turnaround set a new record. I got the tips from a fellow RL'r - boy was I happy to see those come off. I am taking the MCO course at the end of the month and some PCA and lap dances - I mean days - booked this summer. I am sure we'll bump into one another there.
