Default Forgive me my GT3 brothers for I have sinned......

So I decided I couldn't take it anymore driving the Escalade and my P-cars turning into race cars and I need one as a semi-DD and weekend car from Stuttgart. I NEED A P-CAR TO DRIVE AROUND TOWN!!!!! And no, the 996CAB isn't going to cut it. While it is a great car, it was always my wife's dream car and we bought it after she graduated from residency so it really has never felt like mine.

The GT3 was a birthday gift from her and I stupidly sold it to go racing. Now I miss those days terribly of driving her not just on track but to coffee with the fellas on weekends and short trips around town. So......now I have been on the prowl for a replacement.

I only had one criteria....be able to take my boys (2 and 3months) around in the back since my 2 year old LOVES going in the "Porsche car". Only problem is there is no frickin back seat in the GT3. Yes, I know, it can be done but I just don't want to go down that road.

So what have I been searching for??? I guess we could call it the next best thing.....a TT.

So, am I making a bad decision by grabbing a TT? Did I betray the N/A brotherhood? Flame suit on.....

On the assumption that you will get a TT and that you need your wife to help you handle the boys while out and about, where will the stroller go ?

supercharger

LOL

dont be mad at yourself for falling victum to the "want more" bug...so many times we chase a dream so long and if we achieve it and there is a means to reach farther... it's a natural path to go down - for you getting a GT3 was maybe a great dream come true and then you could see further down the road... the race car was a means to reach something you may not have seen before.....so you took the leap and in doing so lost touch with what got you to that point...

stepping back is really tough to do... mostly because you know that it will take you somewhere you have already been...

The TT is new ground for you and IF you dont like it, you can always go back to familliar ground

OR get a honda

As long as you're referring to a Twin Turbo and not an Audi TT, you're just fine!
It's a better street car anyway

Heck I think a Twin Turbo is a great daily driver. Go with it Dell. Its no GT3, but the turbo cars are so cheap right now and pretty fun. I was just in one today that I manually raised the boost up to 1.2 bar for the guy, the car is a hoot! He also had a spoiler failure though ($2000 fix) so don't plan on cheapin out on the maintenance thing. Grab up a 2002 or newer (they have a real glove box) and keep us entertained with it.

My wife (and the great state of North Carolina) just vetoed that idea.

Aspiring to turbos can be considered normal. You are forgiven my son. But you will return.

TCS......I have a feeling you are in possession of a crystal ball. NOTHING has stirred my soul the way a GT3 has. It's a very close second to my wife
