Default 04' GT3 White/Black w/16K Miles

Folks,
I'm going to finally sell my baby, a white over black '04 GT3 with 16K miles on it. I ordered the car with full leather, full carbon fiber interior (wheel, shifter, center console, side pockets, everything), red articulated stitching, red belts, litronics, thick carbon wheel, 10mm lowered seat, and PCCB brakes.

After I received the car, I added an OEM GT3 RS wing, OEM GT3 RS nose, clear lenses all the way around, console delete kit, and a nice set of pedals. I've never had a lick of trouble with the car. It's in excellent shape and needs to be sold to fund another toy.

I'm in Houston, TX and I think fair value on the car is $65K. Clear title in hand.

Let me know if you are interested.

Here are a couple of pictures. Note the car has OEM wheels back on it now. I had a problem with the Fikse rear wheels leaking and returned them for repair.

Note this pic is prior to console delete kit and new pedals.

Regards,

Curt

Absolutely beautiful example. Good luck with the sale

Not sure about the 65K asking price but I'm sure others can chime in with pricing help since I haven't bought/sold in a year.

996 GT3's priced in this range tend to stay on the market for a while, I'm currently looking to buy one locally w/ 6k fewer miles & all the goodies( euro seats/factory rollbar) for under 60k! If you price it realistically you should be able to sell it quickly. There seems to be a lot more 996-3 coming to the market as of late! GLWS!!!

That is what I recently paid for an '05 with 6K miles. It does not have PCCB, which was my preference, although it is obviously of value to someone who prefers it. My car has CPO warranty through March of 2011. Frankly, I believe I paid a premium for it, probably too much, but I thought it was worth it to me. I think your price is high, but not outrageous. If you are comfortable with a 6 month marketing period, I believe you might get your price. My guess, $57-$58K is what it's worth today.

Your car is a GT3 with full leather and factory full carbon fiber? And it has a $4K OEM GT3 RS wing on it and a matching OEM GT3 RS nose. That's quite a find. This car stickered for almost $130K, and that's before the wing, nose, and other small add ons. There is not much comparison between this car and a stock interior GT3.

Thanks for the interest. I'll post some daylight pictures when I return home and can pull the car out. There are no disappointments, it's a beautiful car.

I have found that some of the nice extras do not always translate into a higher re-sale price. However, for the right buyer looking for those features, it might be just right. I have many of the same features, and think it looks fantastic (IMHO!) Good luck.

Chuck, yes, it probably makes sense to at least sell the GTS RS wing separately, and probably the carbon mirrors too. It just looks so darn good as it sits. Ha ha ha ha.

Original owner, highly desirable color, many desirable & expensive options, low miles.. all these factors add value to the so called market value. In which I believe is in the high $50s now? $65k is not just fair, I think it's very good.

At $65k, it will likely sit for a while especially with the winter months approaching half the nation, unless that certain buyer is out that that must have it. Check the usual places where we see cars priced like this, autotrader and cars.com, they sit for a long time most likely because they are chasing the market. Based on recent sales that I am aware of with the same or less miles and more "add ons", if you want to get rid of this quickly, then its mid 50s.

My 2 cents.

This is market correct for a limited production car in a sought after color and all the right options. I was looking for such a car and ended up with a Atlas Gray '04 with CPO and some GMG mods, with similar options ($123K sticker). Most GT3s out there don't have too many options or they've been tracked. I know these cars are meant for the track, but as a buyer, it's nice to pick a driven, but not tracked car.

Anyway, would love to see more pictures. I think this car will find a good home in soon enough.

Recently sold mine. That's a nice car, but $65k is highly unlikely. Options are worth very little and the mods aren't worth much either (at a minimum, better to sell the wing separately as I did). GLWS

I think it's overpriced too, and will likely sit for some time, especially for the season now. Agree with the prior posts about the pricing expectations as the cars have actually been selling in mid to high 50s
