Scott, you are never getting into another CVR event. Enjoy this one.

Will not be at Monticello though.

True. I may not be considered a regular (based on number of posts) but I do try to be civil even with people I have not met.

I agree with Pete. I have learned so much from RL that I do not frequent other forums much at all.
GT3's on RL allows the mostly track minded to have a discussion about one of the best naturally aspirated cars Porsche makes. I would not know 1/10th of what I know about GT3's without RL.

I wondered during Martin's thread why he had not consigned with RUF, or someone else.

Switchcars just sold my GT3 and they have my RUF for sale also. They had their share of problems selling my GT3 with tire kickers even though I was the only owner and had complete documentation.
Switchcars more than earned the commission I paid them. Thank you Doug. (No affiliation. I just like to drive).

Well, I am a lurker on this forum as I am considering a GT3 but have lots of time on the 964 and 996 forums(Dell can vouch for me) and I wished I could say Martin's bashing was the first time I have seen this on RL but it isn't. It's like ambulance chasing where the idiots doing the chasing actually get involved. My mother taught me that if you don't have anything good to say, keep your damn mouth shut! What joy can be derived from this is beyond me?

The good news is these people are the minority on RL and the rest of us just need to suck it up and write it off as an open forum will always be this way. This is a great place that I will not allow these people to ruin for me. Sorry for the BS Martin.

Lastly, I just sold my 964 and listed it here and on Pelican. Pelican does not allow anyone other than the initial poster to add to the thread. Probably for just this reason. Pelican and this forum both provided buyers but the more serious and polite buyers came from Pelican. Don't know why but interesting?

How funny I've got a set of Black Pagid Front from Dell and a set of rear Pagid rears from John (Mooty) on my car right now!

Just a quick example of how small the GT3 community really is; when Mooty was selling his Pagids, he knew an instructor that was coming down to Buttonwillow, so we set it up for this instructor to transport them to me so I could put them on at the track and not wait for shipping. Mooty didn't wait for the check first or want to know this and that. I sent his the check later that week, no fuss or drama. I know it's just a set of pads and not a car, but another example of how nice it is to know others in the GT3 community and help each other out.

Forgot to mention Rad. When he moved from Jersey to Socal, we ended up at an event and talked and talked and talked. Good guy, great driver!

Nope. It was a 993 coupe. Most of their floors leak.
