Default Ideal camber for Nitto NT-01 ?

Just got my first set of Nittos and curious if they are as camber sensitive as the Michelin Sport Cups. My set current set up (for Sport Cups) is -2.8 F and -2.5R . I've done a search and there's lots of info re pressure, but very little commentary about the Nittos and camber. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I'm just finishing off my first set. -2.8F and -2.3R and so far so good. Nice tire.

I had a little more neg. camber on my RSA and they were wearing evenly. I guess your are fine with your settings.

Thanks for the feedback. That's what I was hoping to hear. Next stop Mosport.

I like Mosport! Haven't been there for a while but was there for events pre and after the Panoz renovations. You'll find the Nittos loose at first but they will improve as they get scrubbed in. I start the fronts at 32 and the rears at 31 cold. They heat up quickly and are generally good to go with 1 warm up lap.

Mosport is the home track and only about 45 minutes from the house. Love the track, but the facilities really could use some improvements. I think maybe Panoz has forgot that he owns Mosport. As for the track though, it's never dull , but a little more variety locally wouldn't hurt either. Thanks for the info re the cold pressures, seems consitent with the general consensus to shoot for 35F and 37R hot pressures for the Nittos. I'm there next weekend with PCA. Can't wait.

Did you try Calabogie? Facilities are absolutely gorgeous and the track...... Well let's say you're in for a ride and never get bored.

How do they compare to R888. Last longer?

Thanks,

Stephan

I've got 6 days at Calabogie (not since the summer of '07) but with my Cayman S before I got the GT3. I actually prefer Calabogie to Mosport as a track - much more technical and interesting with a great variety of turns. They didn't have much in the way of facilities when I was there last, but it didn't matter. The track made up for it, and it looks like the facilities are light years ahead of Mosport now. The only downside is that it's 4 1/2 hours from home, so it requires much more planning to make it happen - not my strong suit. REALLY want to drive Calabogie with the GT3...

You should see the clubhouse now at Calabogie.

Outstanding.

Only seen it in pictures, but it looks first class. I wish someone had the same vision and perseverance and built a comparable facility in the GTA.
