Pagid RS14 vs RS19
I normally run with RS19 front & rear and have been happy with the setup. Well, I just opened my brand new box and noticed RS14's for front & rear which I did not order! I was expecting RS19's.
So, I am sure I can send them back to the vendor and get the RS19's, but I will lose over a week in time and have to ship back the RS14's.
My question is what are the differences between the two pads? The car is mainly for the track, but I do drive the car on the street. From previous posts it seemed the RS14's were a little more aggressive on rotors and take longer to get up to temperature.
Again, I am happy with my current setup of RS19's, so any reason to keep the RS14's?

Some people do not like the RS14 - many do. You received a full set F&R of RS14?
First of all, the RS14 cost quite a bit less than the RS19/29, money from that vendor is owed to you.
It *will* increase the disc wear noticeably, and the 'bite' level will increase a fair amount, maybe too much for what you are used to.
You will also notice a decrease in pedal pressure needed for the same stop - takes a bit of getting used to.
They don't last quite as long as the RS19/29 Yellows.
The short answer: Depends!

Craig,
Increased disc wear and different petal feel are things I am not interested in. Thanks for the info.

you need a very very sensitive foot to run RS14. i tried it, almost crashed the car. it's an on/off switch. i prefer RS29 or 19, more modulation.

Pagid BOX
Well, based on the responses I have a good understanding between the RS14 and RS19 pads, and will continue to use RS19's. However, I am confused about the box they came in.
The part number on the outside of the box is: E 2405 190 10. I lifted the lid (see attached pic) and it reads 3.6012- RS 014 - This is why I assumed the pads were RS14's. The front pads have a similar theme E 2707 190 10 and this on the lid 3.6021 - RS 014.
So, I decided to actually look at the actual pads... this should have been step 2 after opening the box. On both front & rear pads it clearly had RS19 stamped!
So, why does the label on the flap have RS 014?? Well, at least I believe I have the right pads I ordered in the first place.

Great combination IMO, I recommend it for anyone who does regular track work on a track prepped car and who *wants* and accepts the feeling of having more rear bias.
2 customers did not like it, about 100 did ;-)

Okay, so is it agreed that the most popular Pagid combo is 29 front and 14's on the rear?
I put 29's on the front when I went to DeMan rotors, but left the rears as stock. Is it worth changing out the rears too?

Maybe not the most popular per se with regards to sales, but common amonsgt seasoned track guys.
I have the DeMan fronts ready to go - e-mail me as they are at a good price.
