I dunno... I think there are some individuals out there in financial trouble that need the cash and accordingly you'll see some firesales.

For example, here was an 04GT3 with $49,xxx asking price: https://rennlist.com/forums/996-gt2-...9-xxx-huh.html

This seller is really straightforward and made the honest mistake of listing 24,000 miles when he meant 42,000.

Yes - "but someones coming over tonight to pick it up." I wonder if he knows about the mileage "mistake." not that I wouldn't buy one of these cars with that many miles.

I'm referring to the gt2 originally posted here.

Mine has 32K miles.

But what Mtheory said is true. For some reason the pricing of the 996 GT2 follows the F car model.

My car for example, is worthless at this mileage. Which was kind of a bummer when I was having my car ADD episodes and couldn't get a decent price for it early last year to switch cars.

Hah will do

BTW prices still aren't bad for our cars believe it or not (unless since my big RUF package makes it miraculously worth a lot more, YEA RIGHT) I have still gotten great offers..

The funny thing is this is my gt2. Funny how word gets around. lets start with buying a car with this 42K miles not 24K miles. I guess most people in here buy cars to look at them and not drive them. Reason being 24K miles is "high miles" to alot of you in here. why dont you just go to the dealership and buy a brand new one with 5 miles and pay $220,000? If you want such low milage this is your best option. What cant afford it? right..... Also we know alot about Porsches but dont usually buy them to sell them because it takes so damn long to get rid of them for the right price. Thats why i buy cars that most people can afford because they sell faster. Karl glynn- Not in any financial trouble just getting a better toy. 360 Modena. Little bit cooler than this GT2 in my opinion. Jet Prop theory i did mistype the add and made that mistake. Go find another GT2 even within $10,000 of this one. You wont find one!!!! Obviously you havent done any research on a GT2 so why open your big a@$ mouth when you dont know what the f$#@ your talking about. You say you have a ford GT with 2100 miles. I bet that car collected alot of dust. you got great use out of that thing. How many times did you fill the gas tank up? Do you know how to? So for all you out there that talk that non sense email me with question you have and i will be happy to watch my fingers when i type. Thank you all

Just kidding man. These cars are meant to be driven and the more you drive them the more they like you.

Hey texas guy. Dont stop in here with your one post wonder and lip off. We dont need your venom. Why dont you sit back and slowly read what Jetprop wrote. He clearly says this about you:

"This seller is really straightforward and made the honest mistake of listing 24,000 miles when he meant 42,000."

Then he posts...

"not that I wouldn't buy one of these cars with that many miles."

Both times backing you & that car up and giving you & it props. Then you bounce that post off of all us. Shut up Texas.

And let me tell you that Bruce Jetprop knows how to gas up that GT, and how to drive that GT, as well as his other metal that he owns & drives & races. You are screwing up a potential sale with a real deal player man. But I bet no one can tell you anything that you will listen to.
