they are made by protosport. many on rennlist use them. i have had 6 sets already, never a prob.

they are a tad heavier than OEM, but last at least 2x longer than OEM based on personal experience. i can bring them to you if you are in the general Bay area.

but IIRC you have PCCB?

Mooty as far as tennis coach's or matter of fact ne bills are taken care by wifey hence the few trackdays I do. Nevertheless what's funny is one of my daughter's coaches( just met him yesterday) is a track junkie and better he has a competition license from NASA. Use to run vw gti but now gravitated towards e46m3. He'll be there feb 13 with NCRC. I've signed up for that event so that means only sat at sp with nasa. U be lonely on sunday. Did u email NASA yet about due process with attaining provisional license? Mike

Yeah I have pccb but with 7 track days already scheduled have concerns and want to move to steel in front

I live in the city, like you

How many track days do you think the setup will last (rotors + your pagid rs29s)?

i dont know if this is a straight bolt on to PCCB rotors and calipers.
these are identical in dim. to oem iron rotors.

i get 1400 track miles on rotors
1000 track miles on pads

Ah, I thought that PCCB would take standard rotors and that they were the same size

I'll do some digging to see what's what on pccb conversion

There are a few possible replacements for front 996 GT3 PCCBs. Many here use the DeMan front slotted rotors, many use the PFC 2 piece, either dimpled, or the more expensive true floating slotted. Then, there are the 997 GT3 cross drilled rotors, which are the least expensive, lightest, and shortest lived.

...and don't forget the 996 GT3 Cup front iron rotors bolt directly on in place of the PCCBs. Call up TRG.

However, when my cup rotors are dead I'll be switching to PFC or Deman.

Cheers,

Front are interchangeable for PCCB and metal ones yes. Rears require 997 Cup rear rotors, since they're 350mm.

Brembo now has two piece slotted discs as an option too.

They are new and as far as I know, Vivid is the only dealer that carries them.

http://www.vividracing.com/blog/anno...e-996-and-997/

They also have a matching rear rotor with bracket that uses the stock 996 GT3 rear caliper with a 350mm disc.
