Default 996 GT3 Fire extinguisher for DE events

Hello everyone. I'm new to the GT3 world and looking to install a fire extinguisher in a 2005 GT3 (fitted with Euro seats) for a friend. There seems to be more than one solution out there. Any pros and cons or comparison amongst alternatives would be greatly appreciated. Also, is there a factory part number for a mount or are they all aftermarket solutions?
Thanks in advance

Have a look at the Sharkwerks mount with bottle. Mount to either driver/passenger side bottom/front of seat. Have it on mine(have euro seats). Regards. Mike ps- the stock one too big lose legroom on passenger side.

I also have the Sharkwerks mount. Works really well, and you don't loose too much leg room, as it mounts the bottle right up against the seat. highly recommended!

I used the BK fe mount with Safecraft extinguisher mounted under the pax seat. Didn't seem to bother the pax when driving. Thankfully, never had to test access to it in an emergency.

I, also, have the Brey Kraus, mounted to the passenger seat -- it's fine and has no impact on the passenger.

note, though, that there is some installation required .....

Mounted mine to the rollbar (due a search for the parts I used):

LOL, holger would never get to his bottle when he needs it!

there are really only two sol'n. you want the B&K mounting kit or the sharkwerks mounting kid. i have both. B&K is MUCH more $$$ thank sharkwerks. also, B&K rattles (noisy) a bit more than sharkwerks.

Mine is mounted to my rollbar as well.

If my car catches on fire I'm running.

I always said I'd run too, but I didn't. Next time, though, I'll open the hood (instead of simply shooting at the flames, duh) and I'll use short bursts. Those fire extinguishers don't hold squat -- maybe four or five seconds total.

Hopefully none will have the kind of emergency that requires verification of how well it works.
Holger, those are beautiful parts !!!!

Looks like the Sharkwerks unit is still winning the votes

I'm not brave to open ne hood. It's like opening a barbeque grill lid with instant burn coals- hella large fireball(you're not suppose to close lid on instant burn coals- don't ask me how I know). Fire loves oxygen. If I can't extinguish fire with lid down fire is already to big. Mike
