Synergy? Not a chance.
All my work was done by 3G Motorsports in Greensboro. Greg Jones (the owner) is awesome when it comes to setup!
ps. everything is documented but it's all proprietary!

The pictures look sweet! It has been pissing down rain here in P-Land, so to even see dry weather is nice.
Josh has a good question regarding HooHoo's or Nitto's?
If there is a 1 -2 second lap difference, I am staying with the R6's. If others have experienced no noticable difference, then I might try them. Like Dell says, don't want to go backwards!
I can say that R888's wear good, however do not have the same grip as an R6. The question is still, how do the NT-01's compare?

I would have to find my thread or post but I made a significant comparison between all the tires as I have run them all on the GT3. If somebody finds it, post the link here.

SICK AS HELL, right where it belongs.. BTW Ken go with NT01's, wish I could try them out s I went through my R888's and wanted something comparable , but they don't make my sizes for the GT2

Thanks for the input Dell. I ran NT01's all last season on my 964 and loved them. I'm probably going to start out next year on Hoosier's and if the wear is too crazy, I'll switch back to good old NT01's.

Without getting into a full blown comparison (trying to get ready for a birthday date with my wife) here are my thoughts........
If you want to have a BLAST on track and do NOT need to be the fastest you can possibly be, the NT01 is by far the best tire value. You get ALOT of heat cycles and they are VERY consistent and very predictable.
However, if you want to have serious grip and you don't drive to/from the track, then Hoosier are by far the best non-slick out there. But I must warn you.....once you try the HooHoo's you will NEVER go back to the Nitto's. They are roughly the same price but have half the life. You will not be able to cord the R6 as they will have lost their grip before then.
Lastly, if you really want to see what grip is like, try slicks. Once again, do NOT try these if you don't want to go back to the R6. I never ran a NEW slick nor did I run the size I would have liked to. If I did run a new set of slicks they would have been the Pirelli slick in 245/305. Instead I ran used Yokohama slicks for $300 a set and they were 250/280.
Here are my fastest times (as best as I can remember) at VIR with the tires:
Nitto (stock suspension before I went to Moton's) 2:09
R6 (only ran 1 set then went to slicks) 2:06
Yoko Slick 2:03

The Nittos have slightly different dimensions, so beware. I rubbed with my front Nittos, but not with R6s or MPSCs. I have changed my alignment, and rotated by struts since, so I expect each car will be a little different. I also liked the durability of the Nittos, but thought the grip was not good enough for me to get them again. My difference was greater that Dell's, between the Nittos and R6s, but Mid Ohio does not have as many long straights as VIR, so is perhaps more grip dependent. Nittos are tough enough to drive to the track, if the weather is dry. I also like MPSCs with the GT3. I did not like them with my 993.
