I know, i just missed out on the perfect one (couldnt come up with the funds in time )

It's ok though i found another, just priced a little out of my range... Maybe he'll have some sympathy and come down for a "poor" enthusiast, who knows?

That is perfect. Unfortunately i'd really like to get into a pre modded one (seats and LWFW especially). Thanks though!

I saw that car at Truespeed. It was nicely optioned. Maybe a tad heavy on the carbon fiber stuff, but from my visual inspection, it was a pretty good example. It's an 05 which I think is cool. If I had to grab a number out of the sky, $76K would probably buy it. These cars are probably not going to get much cheaper.

I believe they are actually looking to get around 82 for the car.

While that would be a great price that's unfortunately about all i have to spend and i need something more trackable (seats, harness, rollbar, etc...). I actually found a great potential buy, just waiting on the seller now. I'll keep you guys posted!

since you are in deep, let me give you a short list of what you will dump money to.

harness: schroth (forget others): $600/pair
roll bar: $2500, powder coated and installed
GT3 seats: $2800/pair
rotors: $1600 (OEM steel, you need 996 cup front and 997 cup rear for PCCB swap)
pagid pads RS29: $1000 or so approx
new set of tires: $1400. the car is POS if you dont get this right
new alignment: you need it no matter what the PO tells you. $400

that'll get you started.

you DONT want to see the LONG list

I will have GT3 seats and harnesses available shortly at lesser prices. And I'm in the Bay Area as you know.
