I had only greens on my 996 GT3 for 40,000 miles. They worked fine. Just had to get on the brakes a little early when starting out in the morning or after washing the car. I found that the issue was lack of heat on the street vs track.
By the way, should have mentioned that most of my time was with the stock pads so for me, they held up fine at the track. This included Summit Point, NJMP (both Lightning and Thunderbolt), Pocono, and Watkins Glen. For what it's worth, the previous owner had on Pagid RS19s but as they were only in the rear when I got the car, I can't really comment on them.
I never kept track of the number of pads. What I was stating is that I had nothing but greens for 40K miles and never had any issues. They worked fine on the street and track.
I had the GENI on the rear and at 61,000 miles when I sold the car they were still great. I did replace the fronts GEN I with GEN II at around 25,000 miles and at 60,000 miles they too were smooth.
