Default Looking for track wheels

Haven't found what I like on the classified's. I do like the Volks Tire Rack has especially the weights. Anyone have negative feedback on these? 2004 GT3. Saw some positive in the forums a ways back.

Any other guys selling anything or leads appreciated.

volks are excellent wheels, i assume you are referring to the te37s? they are a true one-piece forged wheel.

Yup. Easy to clean is BIG. Max cooling too and very light. What's not to like? I like Tire Rack too so my delay is in finding out how tough they are and comparing to CCW so far.

Was wondering why on Tire Rack BBS doesn't show up for a GT3. Haven't called them yet. I bought a set from them before for another car. Anybody running BBS wheels have pics on the GT3?

Moogle's probably talking about the BBS racing wheels which can be found through various racing outfits and down in good 'ole Georgia:

BBS America - Braselton, GA

It looks like Tire Rack may have dropped BBS fitments for the GT3.

Hoping to hear what Bmoore has. AllenJ's car looks so nice, that really is a style wheel I love. The Volks on Tire Rack look good too, they even have a "Titanium Gunmetal" finish that might be smart for a racing wheel. Anyone have pics of the Volks on their car to compare? I hoping to decide in the next few days.

More pics of CCW's or Volk's anyone???

I've owned BBS and OZ's and loved them but for strictly track I think one of these two will work unless I hear any negatives out there. So far it all sounds good, especially the prices.

You don't want center caps. That's excess weight that will slow you down. I only won the last autox by 0.036 seconds and it might've been a different story if I had an extra few ounces of unsprung weight.

Seriously though, I don't think CCW makes center caps for these. Best to check with them. These wheels seem to gather attention at the autox because you can see the CNC machine marks. That's good and bad depending on your point of view. If you like pretty wheels then you should talk to CCW about their polishing option. I like the "business-like" nature of seeing the raw machining on a large block of aluminum alloy.

Different strokes....

Cheers,

Does Volk make TE37s in GT3 sizes and offsets?

Default pic w/Forgelines

Here's mine with the Forgelines. Also, John (CCW) machines some of the wheels to accept center caps, on request.
