What Holger said Maybe I should clarify, grip is still good for a street tire, but what I wanted to say was that it seem to drop off noticeably after a few hard laps.

When the street tires are hot they should be around 40 psi all around. You should start around 34 psi cold all around or 1-2 more lbs for the rear tires. P.S. I will be at lime rock the next the two weekends (pca nnjr & pca hcr) in the black group.

Its always interesting when this topic appears as there seem to be so many answers to the question of tire pressure. I've heard 36/42 cold on PS2s. I have even run that pressure cold and have not experienced substantial slipping on hard cornering, even on track. Well, I will now try dropping it and see if that makes it even better! What do I know, I sell insurance...

I ran my PS2's at 36/38 hot yesterday at Lime Rock with SCDA. There four, 25 minute sessions, and I found at 36/38 hot, the tires starting loosing their grip after 15-20 minutes. I'm going to try 34/36 hot next time if I don't have cups on by then. Again, thanks for your help.
