Does anyone have a clear bra installed on their car?
I have a 2004 GT3 and called a place in Orlando only to hear that they don't have anything.
I would think that someone could do the job, but no idea who in the Melbourne Florida area offers what I need.
Any thoughts?

I just had one installed on mine. Also, had one on my 996. Some like them, some don't, but I'm sold on them. Find an installer with a good reputation of course. The guys out here in CA (Premier) did a great job. Too bad they don't have a branch in Central FL.

I have one on mine. Porsche primer is white, so if you have a dark colored car any rock chips will really show up. There should be pre-made kits, or my preference was to go with a "custom" fit where they take a sheet of the film, and trim it bigger so they can wrap the edges around and you won't see the line. Like mjb said, find a good installer. The front bumper in particular seems like it can be tricky to due to the curves and openings.

I used ArmorGlove back in 2004 when my car was 1 week old. The clear bra has held up extremely well and you really can't tell it's on the car (2.5 years and 5k miles w/5 DE's). My car is Cobalt Blue. I had gotten the full treatment...front bumper, 1/3 of hood, rear all wheel wells, door sills, front of rear qtrs, and below gas tank. It cost me $900 installed and as I said it still looks great.

I don't think they have a Florida sub but for folks in the NY area these guys are great. They have subs in CA and other states.
Thanks.

I had mine done at UltraShield in Fort Myers, FL. They have several locations around the state.

They do all their training at the Fort Myers location and one the bumpers they train on is from a Boxster/996.

There are different types of film. Thicker films will offer better protection, but show more orange peel. Thinner films will be more transparent and smoother, but less durable. Since I have black, I wound up getting a thinner film on the hood and fenders, and the thicker film on the bumper.
