same splitter. Porsche Motor Sport is the source. Any Indi that works with them can order it. Gert, TRG(Austin). I had a local shop order them for me. Make sure your upper ducts are in place as well.

They still functioned however the surface was like sandpaper. I watched them like a hawk because I did not know there was a problem until after I got the car. So the braking distance was still very good it was just eating pads. So my dealer helped me to convince Porsche to replace the front rotors. The dealer ordered the GEN I and Porsche shipped GEN II

They just bolt on. If the dealer orders the orginal part number for PCCB Porsche ships the nex gen. Porsche paid but it was not your normal warrenty issue.

Before I changed my mind on purchasing a 07 GT3, I was looking at 04-05 GT3 and I would not purchase one with PCCB's. In fact the whole issue has me wondering if I should buy a new Pcar? I own a 02TT and have no major problems although there is only 6500 miles on the odo.

I just dont know if it has to be taken that far. When you can replace the rotors with steel versions for a few hundred dollars, I can't see how you could let that sway a purchase choice.

My PCCB's disks are great, and when they wear I will replace them with new ceramic disks. However, if I want, I can just as easily put the inexpensive steels in place. Easy as Sunday morning.

At dealer today and asked about gen II for a genI 05. I was told that even if you tried to order gen I they will send genII. and they will fit on 05gt3 and probably 04 as well.
Roberga, what pads are you using on genII and are these the same pads you used on your genI?

Interesting to see that even after all of these years the PCCB debate continues to rage on.

no debate here. I would not do it again. I have them, they work great but if Porsche did not pay for the new rotors, I would have gone with irons. If the new ones start to show signs of going, Wrightwoo racing irons will be on the car

RAGE on is the appropriate word...Porsche still deny this is a major problem...the guy who replaced my ceramics has done 70 sets in the last year alone... by the way I recommend him strongly..Steve Mchale at JZMachtech...
