Modoc - I don't know where you are. You can get them from www.carnewal.com also from Devek and The Racers Group. All are rennlist sponsors.

Regards.

Bob, sorry ,I thought I put my location in my inquiry. I'm in the midwest. Will probably use TRG or Devk. Thanks again
Hope you don't mind dealing with a lot of very basic questions.

Joe - no problem. Happy to share past experiences. Click on the sponsors page for contact info on TRG. Devek et al. Note Austin is now at TRG.

Roberga, are you running the large Cup brake ducting kit?

Paul, the resale issue probably isn't a big deal. The 996 GT3 cars with pccb can swap out the rotors for Cup car rotors costing about as much as a set of street tires. I don't see it mattering at all, at least not to me. I'll double check the pricing, but it seems to be in that ballpark.

Cheers,

Allan

Swapped my destroyed PCCBs for Alcon floating discs and steel rears on my GT2 for just over £3,000 including Pagid RS421 pads from JZMachtech. Much less than the price of one new ceramic Disc...and better brakes too.

There is a slight weight increase ...but undetectable...to me anyway...

Roberga, does the brake ducting kit require a different splitter and if so where is a good source?

Modoc - no splitter change needed for better brake ducts. If you do need a splitter the motorsport version is way cheaper, it is dark grey instead of black. Both avaiable from Devek, TRG, and Canewal.

Does extra cooling help the ceramics?
