If you think the brakes are bad on the GT3, you shoudl try driving a C2. I upgraded my car to the GT3 brakes and I would consider a 6742% improvement!!!! The GT3 brakes are like the hands of God compared to the C2. Than being said, I can still get them soft at the Glen if I really push it hard. I heard the cup car guys are going through a set of rotors in one race weekend.

No mechanical failures here. The car is solid.

Replacing tires, however, causes wallet failure every couple of months.

I think in the spirit of the sport, all P-car owners should get free tires and fuel from PCNA/PCAG for one year. HIP HIP, HOORAY!

Ok. Back to reality.

Zero failures with my car at the track. 40,000 miles on the car. 40% DE miles
Pads, tires, flush fluids. other wear items. Have never had a wheel bearing go and I just had it inspected last week.

I keep looking for something to go wrong but......

The car is solid as long as the DRIVER does not make a big mistake.

If you hit a zone 2 over rev(missed downshift) you will pay.

That's it for me so far.
Are you running RS19's with the AP floaters? Where did you get the rotors?
Do you drive it on the street; just how noisy is it?
Thanks!

Chewing RS-19s, rotors, and tires constantly. No mechanical failure despite driving the car very aggressively on the track. From what I read, I must be due for something to go wrong with the car...

Default Brakes

AP slotted rotors with RS suspension. Pays for themselves in a season (as compared to the cross-drilled stock).

Very nice. Where did you get the RS suspension? Do you happen to have part numbers, specs? There's a couple of options from year to year and various specs, so I'm curious to know what people are running.

Default RS Suspension

I bought the RS suspension components from Gert, except for the solid bushings, monoball, control links, etc. from others.

The motorsports RS parts have been updated but the street car stuff is unchanged. I posted a complete list of parts HERE. If you are not lowering to RS ride-height I'm not sure if it makes much sense to upgrade? The changes to the RS suspension seem to all revolve around lowering the mounting points and putting the front control arms on the rear permitting slightly more camber adjustment?

The car is great and is made for DE. The only failures that I know of came from driver error. My car has 48,000 miles with about 20K on the track. Not a single failure.
