Turn 2 @ Tremblant = 160 - 165 kph . 2005 GT3 MPSC. I've tried it with the back end leading and it's really not any faster!
Duncan Dayton(sp), who holds the track record, was doing it at 160mph in Jacques Villeneuve's old Indy car.

I go into to T1 at 160 and I think I am around 170 KPH at the top of turn 2 in a GT3 with Cups. This at Tremblant. I say I think because I never look at my speedo there. Never. Ever. I might end up showing my headlights to Mike just like he did to me. Crest the hill and what do I see .. the FRONT of a yellow GT3. Braking is not an option and steering is also iffy. Fortunately Mike was spinning down the hill at 140 KPH else it would have been a real disaster. Can't remember Mosport, T2 is 3rd gear and fairly high in the rev range. Ask Noble GT3 he would know.

LastGt3, I suggest you start at something like 140 KPH into T1 at Tremblant and work up to it. The 1-2-3 combo is scary as hell and will bite unless you are very good. The line at the top is critical.

front straigt into 1 - 170's...for the end of 1 into 2 I see -187.. at the end of 2 -178 ..some others 192... end of 3 194... this is without pushing hard with braking.

these are the best numbers i have noticed on my 285 v710... I expect to pick up some speed with the 315 r6.

Z06 - you are braver tham I am. I don't look at my speedo at Mosport til after 5B. I admit that I suck at Mosport since I drive it rarely.

This past weekend was the NNJR event at Mosport, Ron was out there,

I asked Dick from the NNJR group to come out with me... 34 yrs experience many wheel to wheel racing with the scca and pca it was all smooth in, early throttle, fast out

It was a great time, I still did not go as full throttle as he liked but close, he helped me pick up allot of speed.. he kept saying it will stick don't worry..fun but crazy.

I guess you're talking about Dick Fell?

I'm starting to get the feeling that people don't like to follow me over that hill anymore....

Ask Ted Martin to explain Dick Fell's single late apex line for turn 2 at Mosport......certainly not for the faint of heart and certainly not for anyone not driving a 962 or anyone else who wants to go fast through 2 in a normal car, but then I use 4th through 1 and 2 also 8 and risk a mechanical over-rev on the downshift to 3rd for 3 and 9.

Mosport was a blast, I finished off my rear cups by Sunday lunch so had to call it a day early.

Z06.....I didn't see you on track, were you in Black or Red?

There were lots of cup cars going very slowly...What a waste!....I now know what I want instead of a RS with a hole in the roof. I just have to find somewhere to park the trailer.

How someone (an instructor at that) can crash hard in 4 on the warm up lap still eludes me. I felt sorry for him and his very sorry looking 993.

It was Dick Fell that was with me..he was doing the single on 2... Who is Dick Fell? it seems everybody nows him.

I run in the Yellow group..this was my second event this year. I asked to go up a group but they told me the train was smaller in my group.

Dick wanted my to tap on the entrance of 4 and go flat.. on eight the same thing ..actually that would apply on all corners. I was faster with him.. flat threw the apex on 1 and 3.. better on 2. What a day.

Jeeezus that is fast. According to my DL-1, I'm only at 94 mph (151kph) at the top of T2 at Tremblant and 92 mph (148 kph) between the two apexs at of T2 at Mosport in my Targa on Victoracers. No wonder the GT-3 goes by me so feakin' fast.

Tikka ( aka Dave K) being followed by a Ruf car. I believe it was Metro at Tremblant in May . Cold and the track was just drying up.
