Has any one heard that the 996 gt-3 handles better without the front lip spoiler.I heard removal reduces lift on the rear? What do you think?

LOL. I just used a few well placed screws to secure my splitter to the bumper. It is pretty damn solid now...I doubt it would hold up during an "agricultural excursion", but it doesn't come off now with a light tap against a parking curb or slopping driveway... :-) Ghetto, yes. Functional, yes. Less headaches, hell yes.

Z06Keven, you can check with ViperBob. The dealer charges $255 for the regular stock piece of plastic. Right now these splitters are in short supply from Porsche NA. Most of the Porsche suppliers such as Devek, Racers Group, etc will have the cup splitter with will be much less than the stock Porsche part.
