Default How to fix the sub-belts under a GT3 seat ?

I am trying to install a 6 point harness ( Scrotch Hibrid ) to my car. I am finding some problems:

1.- Sub-belts.- Just under the drivers GT3 seat, there is a cubic depression wich does not allow to anchor as recomended ( 20º max backwards and a max distance of 100 mm from each other sub belt ) the two sub -belts.

2.- Waist belts.- I would have liked to fix the waist belts to the original mounting points BUT I have to keep the 3-point belts ( legal requirement ) and I also have already bolted the Tequipment Roll bar to them. Not much space left..

Could you please , once again, HELP ME!!!

I have the Schroth Hybrid 6-point belts, and really like them.

1. I use the Brey-Krause substrap bars (R-9030, LINK HERE) to secure the substraps. They bolt reasonably easily to the GT3 seats, although the B-K web site does NOT make that clear.

2. I left the 3-point belts connected as stock and attached the Schroth lap belts to the attachment points on the GT3 seats.

Use the B-K products seen at http://www.bkauto.com/porsche/seatmounts.php to retain your OE belts.

I used these 2:

(The other one is too long.)

Or just get the OEM Porsche parts.

sub strap bar : 996.521.933.90
lap belt spacers : 996.521.927.90

These are for use with the GT3 Schroth Harness.

The problem with the factory substrap bar is that they are just that a substrap bar. The BKs have a provision for attaching a fire extinguisher mount should you want one in the future. They are also about the same price.....

The problem with listening to Bob is that he'll help you to open your wallet.

Here's what that looks like, BTW, since I have listened to him.

I agree, go for the BK9030 - lets you mount a fire extinguisher later.

Some events (e.g., Zone 1 48 Hours at the Glen) require a fire extinguisher. I moved to the B-K bar to mount one. It looks good, too, with the new B-K mount.

Yup, go with Brey-Krause parts mentioned in this thread. They work very well and look great...
