If you have $50.- (or 100.- for the pair) to spend and you have run out of mods, here is beautiful pair of anodized racing tow hooks.
The hooks appear to be of very good engineering and quality, with the loop being spring loaded to stay in place.
Got them from Delsamotorsports in Canada.

Do you have a website for them? Can't seem to find it.
Thanks.
EDIT: never mind, found it on eBay.

They look very nice but wondering how far they stick out. The rod or bolt seems long. I would like to have the hook hug the bumper...... If you know what I mean.

I've been meaning to get one for a long time, but never got around to it. I've seen a few others that just didn't wow me. This one looks like what I've had in mind (& the recommendation from Johannes didn't hurt
), so I ordered a red one before it slipped my mind again.

I'm unable to take a pic of my car with the hooks mounted since I live in Singapore and keep the "3" in Sweden so I only get to see it for four weeks during the summer

This car is becoming quiet a globetrotter, born in Germany, shipped off to the Uited Arab Emirates, exported to Sweden and this summer it will get to meet with the Nurburgring for a couple of days in July!

Holger, show us your hook mounted on the car once it comes in!
BTW, I doubt the polished part is stainless steel so I was thinking to clearcoat that part.
Ciao,
Johannes
