I was changing from ceramic disks & ceramic pads so had no choice. When you buy a car new, they don't give you part worn parts. This is no different, and I don't see how its really a big deal. Just need to bed them in properly when I get a chance.

How does that work? I thought the whole point of cryo was to relieve stress in the crystaline structure of the metal disk. I don't see how this logic would apply to pads.

I'm pretty sceptical of the whole idea though, and why bother when you can just buy some proper non-oem disks which aren't drilled?
