Concern about the extensions on aftermarket pedals causing inadvertant gas pedal depression while trying to brake may not be necessary. There was a recent post about fuel management with brake pedal depression and indeed that's what happens on my car. If you simultaneously press the brake and gas down without using the clutch, the engine disregards the throttle input. Of course, as soon as you let up on the brake you get full gas back again (very jerky). Also, heel and toe ability is not upset with this feature so the fuel management must recognize when you have the clutch in and are heel / toeing versus when you have the clutch out. Personally I'd rather not have any "help" from the fuel management but what can you do... Cheers.

Don't know about the 944 Turbo. I just sold it yesterday and never tried it out before that. Next time I'm in my GT3 I'll check again but I'm pretty sure the engine cut to idle as I put on the brakes. Check and let us know if yours does the same.

Why is it when you look at the GT3's at the Rolex garage area the stock pedals seem to be the prefered set-up?

The lower left extension type similar to the Vosstek and Rennline (race) you posted. I don't roll my ankle but have my foot at roughly 45 degrees with the ball of my foot on the brake and my heel hitting the top of the extension and into the centre of the pedal. Works well for me because I have small feet. Oh and did I mention you can get the GT3 logo engraved into the pedal.
