I wonder how many US-spec 2005 GT3 were made in total.

My sales guy checked in "the system" and told me that only 21 but that sounds like a very low number to me...

I was told there would be a total of 101 allocated to North America for MY 2005 - but who knows. I was also told that mine was #55. I took delivery on November 30th.

I'm actually surprised as I thought about 6-8 months ago we'd never make it to 750- seems they responded to demand and made more than originally planned.

I was requesting the quote to install PCCB and a shorter final gear on my car today.

This is not official information, but I would like to share it.

This year the Cabriolet, Carrera 4S and probably the Turbo will be released.

For 2006 the C4S Convertible and the Turbo Convertible. No info on the Targa. No info on the X50 and X51 options.

For 2007 a GT3 and final year for the 997.

The information makes sense. The C4S, Turbos and Cabriolets are strong sellers.

The GT3 is a slow seller. Only 886 sold in almost 3 years. MkI on 99-00, Mk2 on 03-04 (left overs as 05 due to slow sales), Mk3 on 07-08.

Almost 60 available right now in the US? Are these all new? I can feel the value of mine plummeting as I type this---whatever shall I do??? Geez I guess I will just have to keep it drive it :-) which was sorta the plan from the start now that I think about it!
Does anyone know if they have upped the total amount they were going to build worldwide (what was it 2500 or something?) or just allotted more to the US?
