I need more sound proofing too-the engine noise is killing me : ). But seriously-are you willing to put a dear one in the back? Or even if a friend's kid want a ride in the back-will you explain to the parent the back seats aren't legal? That's opening a can a worms there. Better print alot of waive of liablilty forms for neone sitting in the back. Regards. Mike

I was told by the dealer that as long as you install every component as if it were a 996 than it would be perfectly legal, the reason for the sticker on the seats are for kids to have something to destroy when they are in the backseats.

IF dealer if ever said that just have them sign a letter with the Porsche letterhead saying it's perectly legal. Regards. Mike

Dealer installed factory parts exactly duplicate a 996. If you’re petrified of liability for doing something perfectly sensible, then I suppose you wouldn’t want to do it. If you want to be able to safely take kids along, then do it.

The only caveat, as stated, would be accessibility with one piece Euro GT3 seats.
