Hello All!
Just wanted to say hello. I just registered today. I have browsed the forums for a little while and have enjoyed reading alot of the info. Look foward to continuing to do so. I hope I can add something as well.

Hey E! I don't know if you remember me. We've met at VIR (Audi club twice and 1 time w/PCA) a few times now. I have the Silver C2 with the goodies. Good to see you around here. How's the car doing?

Welcome to Funland! Our cars are almost exactly the same, down to the "Hi, officer!" paint color and the two sets of Fikses, except that I have a full cage and am cutting the RS ducts in the stock nose rather than buying a new one-- and, uh, there are a few ongoing suspension mods of the RS/RSR variety, as well

Exactly...
Now I need to find the support bracket to angle the center radiator a bit, Cup-style, for better cooling. Should be a Motorsport part.
I also am removing the rear bumperettes as part of the RS conversion-- i.e., the U.S.-spec bulges protruding from the rear bumper cover. This entails removing two short aluminum supports from the main transverse bumper box. Since the car won't see a lot of street driving, I figure this is an acceptable change.

Cos--
Uh, yeah... you have to fill in the holes with plastic filler and respray the entire bumper cover.
Some people prefer to just buy a new RoW bumper cover, but after I ordered what was billed as a GT3 rear bumper-cover in carbon and found that it didn't exactly match, I decided to just mod the urethane bumper I have.

KJ - I do remember you. Audi Club and Potamac PCA.
But were you there Dec. 4th with Audi Club when I had an argument with the tire wall at Turn 4?
Johannes - My name is Matt E.
DC Lee - We have to compare notes. I'm actually using a Cup front bumper and having the body shop close the hole where the Cup tow hook goes. It has the front ducts like an RS but it also has grills in the lower holes to keep grass, small animals, etc from damaging the radiators. I was thinking of putting in a full cage. Which do you have? What tires do you use at the track? What suspension mods do you plan? I was thinking of a Moton set up but I'm really not sure how much benefit over the stock GT3.
Thanks everyone for the posts.
