Talking '04 996GT3, 455 miles. Price?

Like I mentioned in my previous post (and thank you guys for putting up with my questions) I did a little looking around to compare a 997S with a 996 GT3 and I've found an '04 996 GT3 (used) with 455 miles on it. The pics posted show a very clean car.

It is for sale at a Porsche dealer in the US. Supposedly it was traded in for a Cayenne Turbo.

It doesn't seem to be heavily optioned (which is just fine with me) and has iron brakes. What's it worth?

I got a quote for a new one that listed for 108 and they were quoting 99k.

Maybe there will be another GT3 in canada soon . . .

Question Options . . .

Options on the car are:

2004 GT3 put into service in May of 2004. 500 miles.

leather, xenon, metal door insignia, alum dials,
auto climate, thicker leather wheel

Is the Certified extended warranty worth getting?

How are the sport seats for a bigger guy? I'm 6'4" and have broad shoulders. I could always swap out hte seat in any case.

Send a message to JLJ here in Toronto...he is selling his GT3. White, GT3 seats, roll bar, etc. You don't want the sport seats...GT3 seats are the way to go.

I'd say somewhere around 90, but I'm not really sure. Just be sure you feel it's a good deal so you'll be happy with it. It is a great car, but it is a raw and rough sports car, so don't expect any creature comfort!

Macfly:

Compared to my Caterham Super 7 HPC, the GT3 is well-done and quite civilized!

Wattster -- That really hurts -- making fun of my financial condition. Does this mean no more cubans for me?

I love the Lotus -- you're just a car snob. I got 2 of them for the price of your pimped out GT3. Variety is the spice of life.

Time for another mantra break....pump and dump, pump and dump. I love you Wattster.

Wattster -- Thanks for the compliment. I bought the car for its looks, not for its driving fun -- go figure.

I get more in the Loti than the F-car -- people just love it. I guess they must be liberals with no taste or could it be.......I won't go there.
