Default GT3 Sway Bar Specs?

Anyone have specs on the GT3 front sway bar? I have read somewhere that the diatemer is 26.8mm, but I've seen it as 27, and another dealer told me it was actually 25mm. Equally important, does anyone have the inside diameter (or alternatively the wall thickness)? I suppose one could estimate this by 1/2 the thickness of the crimped end. Finally, has anyone measured the hole spacing? I think the stock 996 hole is about 8-3/4" from the main bar center, so you could calculate %change per hole. Thanks in advance!

I was searching for the GT3 sway bar specs and came up with this thread ...

The OEM bushings on the rear sway bar of my car are wearing so I was looking for replacements. Seth mentioned Powerflex but they have no clue on 996 GT3 specs (at least the person I talked to). They wanted me to measure the bar myself, but instead I sent them these specs as they're probably more accurate than any measurement I would make.

Has anyone replaced their sway bar bushings with anything other than OEM and have any recommendations?

Thanks,
Josh

Well his profile said 'Keeper of the Truth' so I figured the information had to be valid.

I'm still looking for any other thoughts on the topic.

His post was from 2004. Sorry for resurrecting it but I was looking for any details on the sway bar specs in order to replace the worn bushings on my car and my search pulled up this relevant post from the way back machine.

Heck, in the time since this thread has been replied to ORIGINALLY, I have moved cross country, had two children (one which heads off to preschool this fall), built a home, gone through 1/2 dozen Porsche's, and gone from DE to racing back to DE. WTF is going on lately with these time capsules being opened???
